Leslie Yardley

Leslie Yardley Tom and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area enjoying its rich cultural diversity and great educational opportunities. Just a few months after our wedding, we moved to Hawai'i where we lived for the next 35 years. There we raised two sons on our hillside farm, Wainiha Nursery & Landscaping. Tom's green thumb created a beautiful, colorful sight, full of tropical plants, flowers and rare palms. Always work to do, it was a good environment to raise our boys. Additionally, as Founders, Directors and Teachers of the Aloha School of Hanalei, we stayed busy supporting the community and being a part of the Aloha Spirit found on the Island of Kaua'i. The Aloha School is still in operation today and ran by our colleagues and friends that helped us to get started years ago. Our philosophy then and now is,
