Karen Hanson

Karen Hanson is the Designated Broker and Principal for Devstar Realty, LLC in Scottsdale, Arizona. She began managing Devstar Realty in 2014, bringing 30 years of business experience with a strong emphasis on operations and risk management.

From 2003 through 2014, Karen worked as a management consultant for several small businesses and non-profit organizations. Karen brings a strategic approach to assisting organizations with planning, budgeting, marketing and risk management.

From 1986 to 2003 Karen worked in customer service and sales for Unified Management and Charles Schwab Corporation, as Director of Institutional Sales and Operations. During this time Karen was a leader in both the retail and institutional divisions, winning individual and team awards for service and leadership.

Karen has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University and a Masters in Business Administration from Butler University and has been a securities industry arbitrator for FINRA since 1999.

Karen and her husband Jeff are the proud parents of two young men who both currently reside in Scottsdale with their families. Karen and Jeff spend their free time in the White Mountains, where they enjoy tennis, hiking, kayaking and entertaining friends and family.
