I have been in real estate now for over 20 years. I have sold homes to first time home buyers and so many others that need to relocate like my daughter's new school teacher or the couple that wanted to build their dream home. I really have enjoyed and been blessed to have wonderful clients and great experiences in my field of work. My favorite experience was helping one of my sellers who had just had a loss in his family, and had to relocate and sell his home. He really just wanted to dump it and move on. I understood he had children that needed to go on to college and no funds now to send them. So we got top dollar for his home. It was great big joy to see his face and know that I was part of helping him with one of the biggest financial sales in his history. To see him move on with his life and send his kids off is way more than words can express. It was a joy to have been a part of this transaction. My favorite experience in real estate is the Grandma that could no longer afford her home because the economy went down. It was a second home, but her memories and kids and grandkids were in the home. She could not bear to sell it. When we made the home a Vacation Rental, we were able to save it for her and her family. She gave me a big hug and told her granddaughter if I had not helped her she would have lost this home. The granddaughter also hugged me and said, "Thank you for saving grandma's house." This is the part of being a Realtor- Property Manager I truly love. It has been such a joy to help clients with their needs.
