46 year resident of Sedona and the Verde Valley. I camped as a girl scout in Oak Creek Canyon. THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!! We enjoy the red rocks every day as well as the green shades of Oak Creek, The Verde River AND the Bradshaw mountains and Mogollon Rim as our back drops. WOW! A true nature lovers' DREAM COME TRUE. Amazing environment to live and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle in small but very active communities. There are tons of hiking trails, kayaking down our waterways, incredible shopping from very well known artists of every genre. Of interest may be the myriad of native American ruins with their thousands of years history. It's very difficult to be bored here, in other words!
