Dan Cardot has been involved with real estate renovation and development since 1996. He has been involved in projects in San Diego, CA, Maui, HI, and Scottsdale, AZ as well as Central Oregon for the past 20 years. From the years of 1988 to 2002, Dan owned construction companies which specialized in high end home and hotel, stone and tile renovations. Dan has over 35 years in construction experience and has purchased and renovated pre-foreclosure, short sale and bank owned property. He has developed subdivisions and created hobby farms in both La Pine and Terrebonne and has participated in the preliminary development of a 5,000 Ac. destination resort. Dan has extensive experience in working with 1031 exchange clients and in the commercial and residential real estate sales market. His commercial work includes selling a new build, mini-strip on Greenwood Ave in Bend. He has also worked in the leasing and sales of a 7 unit, 10,000 sq. ft. sub-contractor facility in Redmond, Oregon. Dan has represented several large commercial investors in the rehab/renovation of older buildings in Bend and Redmond, acting as project manager after the purchase of the property. One of his recent sales, included representing the buyer and managing the subsequent renovation of the Partners in Care/ Allstate Building in Redmond, Oregon. Due to Dan's extensive knowledge in the construction and renovation process; He has not only represented the buyer in a large nursing home to apartment conversion, but was also the project manager for over three years. Another current sale of Dan's involved a large orthodontist office building a block from the new Oregon State University campus. Dan has a good working relationship with many of the long term investors in Central Oregon. He also has frequent interaction with prominent real estate attorneys, having worked through complex lease negotiations. He has worked closely with the Bend City Council in relation to the issues surrounding affordable housing, as well as the homeless in Central Oregon. Dan enjoys the challenges of complex issues and working to bring people together to provide a positive outcome for all parties involved. On the personal side, Dan has been the past President of the FrontLine Foundation, assisting Central Oregon Christian non- profits and serves on several non-profit and community association boards. He especially enjoys working with youth and mission related groups. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, golfing, hiking, and participating in sports activities with his wife, Anne.
