Charles Tupper

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and raised in Los Angeles, California. From an early age, I developed a passion for flying and pursued my interest by obtaining my AS in Commercial Flight and my private pilot's license from Mount San Antonio College, despite working three jobs to finance my education. During my time there, I was an active member of the school's flying team, where I earned the nickname "Slow Flight Tupper."

After completing my studies, I joined the United States Army as a UH-1H (Huey) Helicopter repairman in a CH-47 Chinook Unit at Fort Hood, Texas. In December 1990, I was deployed to Desert Shield/Desert Storm until May 1991, after which I was honorably discharged from service.

Following my military service, I earned my Airframe and Powerplant aircraft mechanics licenses and worked with Pacific Airmotive Corporation in Burbank, California, where I overhauled PT6 series aircraft turbo prop engines. I also started a side business, founding an entertainment company that offered karaoke, disc jockey, and clown services.

In 1996, I relocated my family from Los Angeles to Show Low, Arizona, a decision that I consider the best move I have ever made. I have had a diverse professional background, working as a service advisor at car dealerships, in sales and live remote broadcasts in radio advertisement, and even hosting my own local TV show.

As a businessman, I have been an active member of the White Mountains of Arizona community since 1996, serving on committees and collaborating with many non-profit organizations. I am particularly proud of my co-founding of the Sequoia Schools "Read to Win" program, where we rewarded children for exceeding their reading goals with cash prizes and an annual end-of-school event. I also served as the Charter President of the White Mountains Optimist Club, part of a national organization that strives to improve the lives and health of youth worldwide. My personal life is also fulfilling. I have a grown son and daughter with two grandchildren who bring me endless joy and happiness. I enjoy spending time with my wife, children, grandchildren, stepson, and three dogs and a cat, as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as fishing, bicycling, off-roading, and hiking.

At the end of 2015, I decided to turn my experience and expertise to the field of real estate, and I embarked on the process of becoming a licensed REALTOR®. Since then, I have made professional growth and education a priority, earning several designations and certifications such as ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), GRI (Graduate REALTOR® INSTITUTE), C2EX (Commitment to Excellence), MRP (Military Relocation Specialist), MRES (Master of Real Estate Society), rCRMS (Certified Risk Management Specialist), PSA (Pricing Strategies Advisor), SFR (Short Sales & Foreclosures Resource), SRS (Sellers Representative Specialist), and AHWD (At Home with Diversity).

I am honored and blessed to have had many opportunities to serve alongside other great agents with the White Mountain Association of REALTORS®. I served on the WMAR Community Outreach Committee starting in 2017 and then as the Chairperson in 2018 & 19 and have continued to serve committees and the White Mountain Association of Realtors® Board since 2019, where I have been a director followed by the Treasurer position. I am honored to have been recently elected as the President Elect for White Mountain Association of REALTORS® for 2024. I will be President in 2025.

My goal is to continue to educate myself and better serve my clients, members, and community.
